Absence from the Emmy Ceremony

This is the first time Swift has seen Kelce play in person since their wedding in the summer. She chose to leave the Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. Although "The Eras Tour: The Final Show" was nominated for Best Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), the winner in this category was announced at the Creative Arts Emmys, with "The Muppet Show" taking first place.

Swift and Kelce's Relationship

Swift and Kelce's relationship began when he performed at Arrowhead Stadium and attempted to gift her a friendship bracelet. Kelce invited Swift on social media to watch his game, and she eventually accepted the invitation. Their relationship gradually developed, culminating in their lavish wedding on July 3 at Madison Square Garden.

Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, and Stevie Nicks performed for a gathering of sports and entertainment figures, including Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz, and Tom Brady. Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, commented on the ceremony during the ESPN pre-game show, saying, "The ceremony was amazing, and Adam Sandler beautifully officiated it. From that moment on, the celebration began."

This summer has been busy for the newlyweds, although Swift is currently not on tour. Kelce is also developing his business portfolio and recently decided to buy a stake in David Blitzer's local team, the Cleveland Guardians.

Some believed that Kelce might retire after last season, but he chose to return for his fourteenth season. His close friend Patrick Mahomes also returned just in time for the game against the Browns, allowing the Chiefs to bounce back from their first losing season since 2012.
